@Singers.com : Musicologists have fun debating the extent to which a cappella, "in the style of the chapel," can include instrumental accompaniment. Some argue that early sacred a cappella performances would sometimes include instruments that double a human voice part. So, the correct definition of a cappella should be something like "singing without independent instrumental accompaniment."

@RARB : The Recorded A Cappella Review Board (RARB) was set up in 1993 to give a cappella groups a chance to have their album reviewed by our board and to give potential buyers and listeners some insight about each album. http://www.rarb.org/. The review board is made up of a cappella performers, creators, and fans across the continent with different perspectives on a cappella.

@Wikipedia : : Contemporary a cappella includes many vocal bands who add vocal percussion or beatboxing to create a pop/rock sound, in some cases very similar to bands with instruments. One such group is Rockapella. There also remains a strong a cappella presence within Christian music, as some denominations purposefully do not use instruments during worship. Examples of such groups are Take 6 and Acappella.

@knitty : A Capella is knit side to side in one piece and uses garter-stitched short rows for shaping. I did not wrap my short rows and there are no visible holes. Depending on the yarn you use however, you may wish to wrap the turning stitches.

@AvaxHome.RU : The Cathedral Quartet, often known as simply The Cathedrals (or briefly for one album Bobby Clark and the Cathedral Quartet), was an American southern gospel quartet that lasted from 1964 until their disbandment at the end of 1999.
